Teenage Tara
In her early years of high school, Tara has to deal with not just growing pains, but the phantom pain experienced by a recent amputation. At the same time, though, she's just like everyone else: into the latest cool clothes and too busy for homework. She still sometimes wonders how to answer when people ask, "so what happened to you?"
